Introduction

We are Kiwi House, the home for New Zealanders looking to grow their business in overseas markets. Kiwi House is a private organization that is flexible in supporting and collaborating with NZ and international businesses.

Our founder is Giang Do ( Vietnamese Kiwi ) who was born in Vietnam and migrated to New Zealand in 2008. Giang Do is happily married to his lovely Vietnamese wife Rita and they have 2 children born in New Zealand Maui & Manawa. Giang has a wide range of working experience including areas such as NZ Education and Tourism, he also owns and operates several businesses in NZ, employing many New Zealanders and showcasing Vietnamese culture and food.

Our Services

We create strong business and education links with beautiful NZ, while also connecting local NZ businesses and relationships to international clients.   Our knowledge and connections with offshore agencies will help Kiwis to connect with appropriate partners as well providing consultants to help develop high value business opportunities for Kiwis.

There are three primary business lines that Kiwi House focuses on. These are:

  • Exporting NZ premium products
  • Promoting and recruiting international students to NZ
  • Promoting NZ & Maori Tourism.

Kiwi House is not limited to business relationships only, we are also able to support Kiwis overseas in many areas given our capacity and knowledge of that country. Our offices will be useful as a contact centre for Kiwis and Kiwi businesses.

Kiwi House’s first oversea office is located in Vietnam where our the founder originates from. This will be the first of many overseas offices. we intend to expand our business links into Cambodia and Lao in 2023 as well as several other countries from 2024.

Giang Do

Founder & CEO

Giang Do has an educational background of Engineering in Vietnam and Business Studies in New Zealand. Giang’s experience as a business owner-operator in New Zealand is extensive. He has employed and trained over 50 staff. In the past ten years Giang has promoted New Zealand in Vietnam especially in education, tourism and exporting. Giang is passionate about his new country, New Zealand, its people and its products. He wants to share this country with the world.

TRI Thi My Tien

Assistant to CEO

Tien is an accomplished and highly qualified actress who has been in several movies and has a degree from Ho Chi Minh Academy of Threatre & Cinema. Tien is the Personal Assistant to Giang Do, the CEO of Kiwi House, her role is to promote Kiwi House activities, communicate with customers and the general public and to represent Kiwi House on occasion.

Tuahuroa Tamiti Cairns (Tamati)

Director P&T Global Education - Māori Council/Iwi Liaison

Responsible for the design & quality control  of the English Programme,  Tamati has long held a significant role in International education design and development, while also liaising with local Iwi and the Māori Council.  Licensed Te Reo Maori Translator and Interpreter. Tamati has worked across Education and Health sectors in both management and board positions.

Jacobus Johannes Broodryk, (JJ)

Principle Whakorongo School

An experienced school leader with excellent knowledge of the New Zealand School system JJ has responsibility for managing the recruitment and training of teachers for employment in International secondary and high school programmers. A dedicated and committed educator JJ has held numerous leadership positions over the years, developing an comprehensive understanding of New Zealand and International Educational landscape.

Pauline O’Leary

Head of English Department

Masters of Arts in Education English TESOL. Pauline has a long term professional history in Education, teaching Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary English,Te Reo Maori, Food Technology and University Lecturer (in TESOL). An experienced, registered teacher, curriculum consultant, deputy Principal, acting- Principal with a recent teaching background with primary students in new entrants, Years 2, 3, 4, and Intermediate school.

Peter Cleave

English teacher /online teaching

Dr and Professor Peter Cleave has worked for many years with Vietnamese in Palmerston North and, through the internet, in Vietnam. Peter Cleave brings a cultural aspect to the team in that he has acted as interlocutor for Vietnamese and others in New Zealand for many years in such issues as trade, education, and commerce. Peter Cleave has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts (First Class) from the University of Auckland and a D.Phil from the University of Oxford. Peter Cleave is a media specialist and has been employed as a radio announcer in Maori and English for over two decades in Palmerston North on an Iwi station. Peter Cleave will take the skills above to his part in Kiwihouse.

Jeanné Hyde

Quality Assurance

Jeanné has a strong background with many diverse organisations. In several of her roles she has had the responsibility for designing and developing curricula, managing learning outcomes and people across Government, Education and the Private sector. Jeanné has an extensive background in Tertiary Education (Hospitality & Catering) Central Government (Justice Sector) and local Government (local body Council) Providing Quality Assurance and Learning outcomes within diverse sectors for multi cultural students and colleagues.

Mohamed Anas Sirajur Raheem

Immigration/Legal consultant

Mohamed is a New Zealand Immigration Lawyer with Kiwi House and an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. He is also admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

He is a former New Zealand Immigration Officer (Visa Services) and Border Officer at Auckland International Airport. He has several years of experience working in various Government Departments in New Zealand and has also worked as a Licensed Immigration Adviser at a prominent New Zealand Immigration law firm.
